Warriors’ Draymond Green Expresses Frustration Over Criticism Towards Stephen Curry Following Suspension

Draymond Green told Stephen A. Smith the truth about what he said about Stephen Curry’s leadership of the Warriors.

Stephen Curry, the great player for the Golden State Warriors, is one of the best NBA players of all time. Still, Stephen A. Smith of ESPN had doubts about his leadership in the past. After Smith said bad things about the Warriors guard, Draymond Green responded on Instagram through The Volume and The Draymond Green Show (quotes from Christian Arnold of the New York Post).

Green said, “Because Draymond did X, Curry is a bad leader.” “It made me mad, but it broke me.” How does Steph deal with being a bad leader? We have nothing bad to say about this guy. This guy does everything right, but I am putting him down because of what I did? Hurt me.”

Curry has won several titles with Golden State. It is hard to argue against his impact in Golden State. They are not having the best season, that is true. But Green has missed time, and other players on the team have also had a hard time.

The Warriors moving on

Green will be back soon. Curry is still a big deal.
