Unfortunately, due to Diesel’s intervention, Van Damme missed out on the opportunity to join the Fast and Furious family.

According to Van Damme, he was approached for a role in the Fast and Furious franchise, but Vin Diesel did not want him on board. Van Damme initially gained popularity as a martial artist before transitioning to action movie roles, starring in films such as Bloodsport, Kickboxer, Universal Soldier, and Timecop. In recent years, he has appeared in movies like The Expendables 2 and Kung Fu Panda 3, as well as a TV series called Jean-Claude Van Johnson.
