A new slo-mo video shows the exact moment where CeeDee Lamb’s head slammed into the turf during the Dallas Cowboys-Detroit Lions game on Thursday night, and it’s awfully hard to watch.
CeeDee Lamb suffered a concussion in the third quarter after nearly making a jaw-dropping touchdown catch on a deep throw from Dak Prescott. Lamb got up after a few moments, but the Cowboys ruled him out for the game soon after:

Lamb missed three games earlier this season after suffering an ankle injury in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears. Before 2025, Lamb had only missed three games (one in 2021 and two last year) in his career.

Per ESPN, CeeDee Lamb had six receptions for 121 yards and no touchdowns before leaving the game. The Cowboys entered this contest with a 6-5-1 record, likely needing to win out and have the Philadelphia Eagles drop two games to secure the NFC East.
There hasn’t been a repeat NFC East division champion since 2003 and ’04, when the Eagles won the crown both times.
