Man Utd Stars Indulge in Swanky Italian Lunch: Bruno Fernandes, Former David De Gea, and Juan Mata Gather at Manchester Restaurant

Bruno Fernandes and David De Gea, two stars for Manchester United, were seen having a fancy Italian lunch on Saturday.

United was supposed to play Preston in a pre-season friendly, but the game had to be canceled because of a coronavirus spread in the United camp.

Even though the season is almost over, the club didn’t say which players, if any, have caught the virus. This was because everyone wanted to play it safe.

But the team getting together at Cibo restaurant on Saturday at least shows which players haven’t been forced to stay away from each other.

De Gea, Fernandes, and Juan Mata, another Spanish player on the team, were seen leaving the restaurant together.

Paul Pogba, who has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, also dropped by quickly. He got there near the end of the meal and left through the back door about 15 minutes later.

This is where Ed Woodward and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer met in February 2019, when the club legend decided to become manager for good.

Even though Cibo just opened in late 2018, players and club executives already go there often.

Football stars like Solskjaer seem to enjoy it too, as Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic, and Andreas Pereira are among those who have joined for pizza or pasta.

The United team is now getting ready for their last pre-season game against Everton. The club doesn’t expect any more problems.
