Man Utd Forgoes Two Center Backs but Remains ‘Determined’ to Secure £15.2 Million Striker

Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart will be acquired by Manchester United in January, but finding a center-half is becoming more difficult since Chelsea and Spurs are also in the market.

As Manchester United looks to add a striker in January, The Athletic presented us with a four-man shortlist. However, they stated that the £15.2 million required to sign Serhou Guirassy (who is currently second only to Harry Kane in the Bundesliga scoring charts) from Stuttgart is approximately £15.2 million more than they can afford to spend.

Manchester United will sign Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy in January, but with Chelsea and Spurs also interested, it’s getting harder to find a center-half.

Jadon Sancho is anticipated to spend the remainder of the season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, somewhere in Manchester United territory. Since paying for about two thirds of Sancho’s salary might be the only option to get him out of the building, they are eager for United to do so.
