The Hollywood couple paid a surprise visit to the oncology and intensive care units at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick on Thursday.

They visited sick children at their bedsides, including a young patient named Jessica and her mother Rachel, who appeared delighted by the stars’ appearance.

They visited sick children at their bedsides, including a young patient named Jessica and her mother Rachel, who appeared delighted by the stars’ appearance.

Later on, young patient Ollie and his mum Rebecca were all smiles as Nicole and Keith posed with them for photos

Another patient, Kayla, was beaming when Nicole joined her for a snap.

Nicole, 51, has been an ambassador for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation for two decades.

She said: ‘It is always so important and special to visit these very sick and incredibly brave young children and their strong parents and families.

‘For 20 years now they continue to amaze me with their tenacity and courage. Very humbling.’

Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation chief executive Nicola Stokes added: ‘The joy Nicole and Keith brought to sick kids and their families was beautiful to see.

‘Their kindness and care shone through and was such a highlight for young patients and their families. The smiles on their faces said it all.’

Nicole flew to Los Angeles later on Thursday while Keith, 51, and the couple’s daughters Sunday Rose, 10, and Faith Margaret, eight, jetted to Nashville.
