DENVER – FEBRUARY 18: (L-R)All-Stars Shaquille O’Neal #34 of the Miami Heat and Allen Iverson #3 of the Philadelphia 76ers sit courtside during the got milk? Rookie Challenge, part of 2005 NBA All-Star Weekend at Pepsi Center on February 18, 2005 in Denver, Colorado.
Former NBA superstars Allen Iverson and Shaquille O’Neal have landed jobs with the same company, per Front Office Sports.
The basketball icons are long removed from the game but have remained involved, with AI a constant presence and Shaq working as one of the hosts of ‘Inside the NBA’ on TNT.
Reebok, the sneaker company with which Iverson has a lifetime deal, has announced that the pair will be taking up roles within the business, with O’Neal appointed president of basketball while Iverson has been named vice president of basketball.
NEW: After 25 years, Shaquille O’Neal is returning to Reebok — as the brand’s new President of Basketball.

Both icons have long been associated with the brand. Iverson has been the face of Reebok since his playing days, and Shaq wore Reeboks while with the Orlando Magic before the creation of his own “Shaq” line.
Reebok has been overshadowed by the likes of Nike and Adidas in the NBA for a long time now, but these new appointments could help the brand return to the court in force.
Puma has fashioned a resurgence in the sport, having signed a number of popular NBA stars over the past few years. It appears Reebok is looking to the same as they now have two of the game’s most popular former stars leading the charge.
