Colorado teammates Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter were in the building when the Denver Nuggets played their season opener on Tuesday night.
The Nuggets began their title defense against the team they beat in the Western Conference finals and got another win over them on the night, having swept them in their last series.
Shedeur and Travis were given the star treatment after showing up to the arena early. They even had LeBron James walk up to them to show them some love after the game.
It seemed like a pretty enjoyable night for the quarterback and his wide receiver/cornerback teammate as they got to take some shots, though they’ll probably regret it now as they only put up bricks and air balls in the clip shown below. Of course, they shouldn’t feel too bad as they’re football players and shouldn’t be expected to be great at basketball too.
Shilo Sanders, Shedeur’s brother, recently challenged former NBA stars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to a two-on-two with him and Shedeur. The QB might need to work on that jumper if that’s going to happen.
The Buffaloes return to action against UCLA this Saturday after enjoying a bye week that came on the back of their loss to Stanford.
