Earlier this summer, NBA champion Dwight Howard was sued by a man for allegedly assaulting him for refusing to join the basketball star in a male threesome. The alleged victim Stephen Harper shared damning text messages where Howard allegedly tried to coerce him into a male sex session after Howard brought up the topic on Instagram.
Howard did offer a disclaimer in the messages, allegedly telling Harper: “Now I want you to know I’m not like gay or anything. I’m jus a lil nasty sometimes. Ion wanna offend you.”
Things went downhill for Harper when Howard allegedly invited him to his Atlanta-area estate to hang out, as a man dressed as a woman named Kitty rolled up on the scene and immediately popped in a pornographic film. Kitty allegedly began sexually servicing Howard who then began touching Harper. The man claims he said “no,” which infuriated Howard. Harper said Howard forced him to perform oral sex on him. He said he tried to call an Uber after the incident, but Howard made Kitty take him home.
Howard had been really quiet about this situation until this week when court documents obtained by Radar Online had him admitting he met his accuser Stephen Harper on social media in May 2021.
“In his response, Howard denied that Harper was surprised by Kitty. He said, “Plaintiff was aware that would also be arriving at the home prior to Plaintiff even arriving at Defendant’s home.”
Howard admitted that Kitty was a man dressed as a woman.
In addition, Howard admitted that he touched Kitty and Harper but said it was all consensual activity.
“The three agreed to touch one another and to engage in consensual sexual activity,” Howard’s lawyer wrote.”
Howard has denied sexually assaulting Harper or forcing him to do any sexual act and is now demanding the entire lawsuit be thrown out of court.
The lawsuit accused Howard of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and false imprisonment.
In the meantime, Howard is still trying to revive his NBA career. He last played in the NBA in 2021-22 when he suited up in 60 games for the Los Angeles Lakers. He averaged 6.2 points and 5.9 rebounds that season and also helped the team win the 2020 NBA Finals
While playing for the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan last season, he averaged 23.2 points and 16.2 rebounds across 20 games, which shows he still has plenty left in the tank at 37-years-old.
The 2004 No. 1 pick has had a terrific career, with eight All-Star nods, eight All-NBA designations, and three NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards to go along with his title.
