The last few weeks haven’t been the best for the Golden State Warriors franchise. The inconsistent availability of the players has cost them a lot, and it sunk them in the points table as well. Furthermore, the franchise leader Stephen Curry seemed to be the most affected on the team. He repeatedly ended up on the losing side despite averaging close to 30 points per game. However, the 35-year-old superstar had found a brief solution to distract himself from the Warriors’ story.

The superstar has engaged in various charity events since his debut in the league. He has always proven his case when it came down to giving back to the society. Importantly, Curry’s welfare activities are mainly focused on children and he has consistently picked Christmas to surprise the kids.

Following the third consecutive loss, the NBA world was all over the Warriors and showered them with opinions on their poor run. Along with it, pundits drag Stephen Curry into leadership questions. Amid all this, he cut out the noise and distracted himself for a brief period.
Steph teamed up with his wife, Ayesha Curry, and hosted the 11th annual ‘Christmas with Currys’ event on Friday. This fundraising event involved the Dubs superstar handing gift books, beanies, water bottles, backpacks, and Santa hats to Oakland’s Manzanita Community School, reported the San Francisco Chronicle.

Additionally, Steph took a little help from his teammate, Travis Jackson-Davis, to dress up as Santa for the event.
As the name suggests, this isn’t their first Christmas event with the kids of Oakland. The superstar couple engaged in a grand charity celebration during the Christmas month via their foundation, Eat Learn Play.
