Heidi V Hoback shared screenshots that claim to show messages from the NBA’s LeBron James, 32.
The Cleveland Cavaliers forward supposedly sent the stunner a cheeky message before the two of them had a chat.
The curvy brunette from Virginia has nearly 130,000 followers on Instagram and is also a keen hunter.
Heidi posted on Snapchat: “Athletes slide in girls dms all the time so this isn’t the craziest part but sheesh…biggest buck I’ve ever seen over here.”
In the screenshot James writes: “Teach me how to hunt and I’ll teach you how to play ball. Deal? Lol.”
Heidi blurred out the rest of their conversation before James apparently asks: “Where are you?”
The NBA superstar has been married since 2013 and has three kids with his wife.
She later said: “The message was pretty innocent as far as I know. And then some of my followers informed me that he was married, which I had no clue because I didn’t follow him.
“I wouldn’t consider myself a fan so I wasn’t aware of that at all. I guess that’s why it’s been made into a bigger deal than I originally thought it’d be.”
Heidi also defended her use of the word “buck” and added: “I guess it’s been misconstrued somehow and to saying that I was calling LeBron a buck, but you know I don’t even really know what that term means.”
It comes just days after Brit boxer Amir Khan messaged a mum-of-two and asked to see her “naughty” pictures.
Last month one of his admirers – Amy Lee, 30, from Merseyside – liked an Instagram story Khan posted on October
To her amazement, messages seen by this website appear to show the Bolton-born brawler – separated from pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom ahead of their divorce – striking up a conversation that escalates to an address swap and near-encounter.
