Michael Jordan proudly showed off his awe-inspiring new $3.5million (£2.83m) super car.
The legendary six-time NBA champion has always been in love with all things horsepower. Prior to his new purchase, he boasted a staggering car collection worth more than $5.5m (£4.45m).
However, when you boast a net worth of $2bn (£1.62bn) there is always room for another stunner in your garage, and as you would expect, his latest addition to his gleaming array of vehicles is quite spectacular.
He picked up the keys to his ultra-rare Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster. Its creators claim it’s “the world’s fastest and most powerful convertible” that is capable of reaching a top speed of up to 300mph.
“We created the Venom F5 to be the ultimate expression of a hypercar,” said John Hennessey, the founder and CEO of Hennessey Special Vehicles, Hennessey Performance, Tuner School and Lonestar Motorsports Park.

“Our 1,817 bhp ‘Fury’ engine screams behind the exposed cockpit, with its roar unobstructed by a roof—it is an unmatched automotive experience.”
Alongside a picture of himself with his arm around the basketball great, Hennessey wrote: “Today was a special day. Such an honour to build a special Venom F5 for a special friend.” While they did not upload a full picture of the car, it appears to be a glossy, dark grey colour complete with yellow pinstripes.
The Venom F5 was first produced last year and there are only believed to be around 30 on the planet. It will slot in very nicely alongside Jordan’s other motors, which are also believed to include a Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir, a 40th anniversary edition Chevrolet Corvette, and a classic Ferrari 512TR.
The only difficulty Jordan will have is deciding which motor he wants to drive every day.
