Many people think that Manchester United will sign a big-name center-back this summer, and Gleison Bremer of Juventus has been named as their top transfer target.

The centre-defender from Brazil has been one of the best in Serie A over the past few years. He just signed a new contract with Juventus.

Even so, rumors about his future haven’t stopped, and it has been said that the Bianconeri would sell him for around €70 million.

United has set their sights on him as a great way to improve their defense. The club wants to sign him because of how well he played today against Frosinone.

Although Bremer was booked after only eight minutes of the 3-2 win, he was able to calm down and play a good game, especially with his passing.

The player who used to play for Torino had 113 touches and completed 94, out of 104 throws. He was also very good at throwing long balls; 12 of the 15 long balls he tried went through.

Apart from this, Bremer won all of his aerial duels and made three tackles and two clearances.

Erik ten Hag, the boss of United, is said to want to sign a “physically strong” defender who can anticipate and play the ball well.

Bremer is exactly what the Dutch manager wants, but the only question is whether he can settle into playing in a back four after being used to playing in a different formation.

The Brazilian has played in the middle of a back three for both Juventus and his old team, Torino.

If United really wants to get him this summer, they should make the deal happen before preseason starts so that he has time to get used to playing defense under Ten Hag.
