Tom Holland and Zendaya proved to be more than on-screen superheroes.
The Spider-Man stars made sure to show Bridger Walker the time of his life on set after inviting the little boy to the studio upon hearing the story that he saved his sister from a dog attack in 2020.
‘Remember when @tomholland2013 promised Bridger he could come to the filming of Spider-Man? He delivered!,’ Bridge’s father Robert wrote on Instagram. ‘First, a huge thank you to Tom, @HarryHolland64, @Zendaya, and the entire Marvel/Sony cast and crew for this dream-come-true adventure.’
Best day ever: The Spider-Man stars made sure to show Bridger Walker the time of his life on the set after inviting the little boy to the studio upon hearing the story that he saved his sister from a dog attack in 2020
Walker, now seven, from Cheyenne, Wyoming, bravely put himself between his younger sister and a charging dog last year, and suffered several bites to his head and face that required 90 stitches.
He went through multiple rounds of treatment and received heartfelt words from many members of the MCU for his act of heroism, including Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Brie Larson.
Robert continued: ‘When we first arrived on set, I was a little apprehensive that once the โcurtain was pulled backโ that the magic of the movies would be lost for the kids. The opposite was true! Tom, Zendaya, Harry, @lifeisaloha, @tonyrevolori, and the entire cast/crew made our kids feel like stars.
‘They donโt just act the part of friendly neighborhood heroes – thatโs what they truly are.’

‘The look on the kidsโ faces was priceless when we rounded the blue-screen to see Tom, in full costume, high above the set on a light post. It was emotional to see him waive at the kids like he was the one that was supposed to be excited – not the other way around,’ he added

‘A short time later, Tom and Zendaya came over. I will never forget the grace and kindness they showed our children. Zendaya immediately approached my teenage daughter and told her how much she loved her nails. I donโt know if she will ever know how much that simple act means to me – to see my sweet daughter light up with self-confidence and joy.’
‘Harry Holland was our personal guide throughout the day – and all I can say is his parents must be so proud. Such a gentleman and genuinely good person. I cannot imagine there are more humble and gracious young men in all of Hollywood than the Holland boys.

Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer features Doc Ock & Green Goblin
‘We have loved seeing the reviews for Spider-Man: No Way Home. While there are so many reasons it will go down as one of the best ever – I personally think it is because the cast and crew are good, kind, and passionate people.
‘Individuals who heard about a little boyโs injury, who wanted to make it right. People who were willing to stop a very busy day of shooting to make my little boy smile, and give him a chance to โweb-swingโ with his hero.
