Vin Diesel, the man behind the iconic Fast and Furious character Dom Toretto, has a life story that’s full of surprises. Before he rose to fame as one of Hollywood’s biggest action stars, Vin Diesel (born Mark Sinclair) had a pretty unconventional journey to stardom.

Born in New York City in 1967, Vin Diesel grew up in a creative environment. His mother was a psychologist, while his stepfather worked as a theatre director. From a young age, Vin was exposed to the arts and developed a passion for performing.

At the age of seven, Vin made his first foray into the entertainment industry when he starred in a play at a local theatre. However, it was his love of breakdancing that would ultimately lead him down the path to Hollywood.
