After leading Atlanta to an 11-0 run to start overtime, Dejounte Murray scored the final seven points of the game and finished with 19 points. Jalen Johnson scored 21 points, while Onyeka Okongwu recorded a career-high 22 points and a season-high 16 rebounds.

In the fourth quarter, Curry scored 22 points, including a game-winning jumper with 14 seconds left. To tie it, Murray responded with a jumper from the free-throw line. Curry’s last-second attempt went unmade, forcing overtime.

The Hawks have won four straight games, matching their best run of the season, by taking advantage of a six-game homestand. On the homestand, they are 4-1.

At the start of the fourth session, it was knotted at 89. Curry put Golden State ahead 105-104 after making the opening two goals of the last quarter and then dribbling for a 3-pointer.

With 1:06 left in regulation, Jonathan Kuminga fouled out with 16 points, ending his eight-game streak in which he scored more than 20 points for Golden State.

To close the first quarter, Young and Lester Quinones of Golden State, who finished with 17 points apiece, swapped long threes. With less than two seconds remaining in the frame, Young hit a 27-footer. Quinones was the first player the Warriors passed the ball to, and he beat the buzzer with a halfcourt shot.

In the latter minutes of the first quarter, Golden State rookie guard Brandin Podziemski appeared to have injured his right leg after landing awkwardly while attempting to avoid fouling Young. After hobbling off the court, Podziemski was helped to his locker room and came back during the second half.

Prior to the game, Hawks forward Saddiq Bey was declared out due to a sprained left ankle sustained during Friday night’s 129-120 victory over Phoenix. He did not return to the game. “It’s not something that should keep him out for an extended period of time,” said coach Quin Snyder prior to kickoff.

With Bey out and De’Andre Hunter (right knee) limited, Garrison Matthews started at forward. In 16 minutes, Hunter scored six points.

Dario Saric, a forward for the Warriors, missed his second straight game due to sickness. Saric could travel to Brooklyn for the team’s upcoming match, according to coach Steve Kerr.
