Shakira makes an impressive “reappearance” with a new album: Celebrating the strength and extraordinary rise of women.

Shakira reveals her upcoming album, titled No More Tears for Women, to her fans.

Shakira has revealed that her upcoming 12th studio album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, is set to be released on March 22nd.

During the Super Bowl last weekend, Shakira gave fans a sneak peek of the new album. She has already treated her audience to a few previews of Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, including collaborations with Karol G on “TQG,” Rauw Alejandro on “Te Felicito,” and a Bizarrap mix titled “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” The album features a collection of 16 songs.

Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran marks Shakira’s first album since 2017’s El Dorado and her first release since her divorce from Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué in 2022. According to Shakira, the overarching theme of the album is resilience. In a statement, she shared that creating this body of work has been transformative, turning her tears into diamonds and her vulnerability into strength as she wrote and sang each song.

There will be four unique vinyl editions of the album, each with its own color scheme. The Sapphire version will only be sold on Amazon, while the Ruby edition will be exclusive to Target stores. The Emerald edition will be up for grabs on her website, and the diamond edition will be available at all major retailers. Fans can already pre-order Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. In 2022, Shakira faced a $15 million tax fraud case in Spain, but she reached a settlement on the first day of the trial.
