Rylan Clark has finally broken his silence on weeks of swirling speculation, confirming he’s in a new relationship — while putting to bed those persistent rumours linking him to his close friend and  TV co-star Rob Rinder.

The 36-year-old BBC Radio 2 star, who has been at the centre of endless headlines in recent weeks, shared the news during the latest episode of his Rylan on Saturday show.

A ‘Secret’ He Tried to Keep

During the broadcast, Rylan and his colleague Lottie were discussing the latest episode of his hit podcast, How to Be in Love, which recently featured documentary-maker Louis Theroux sharing insights into his marriage.

After a clip aired, Lottie cheekily teased Rylan live on air, asking if there was “something else” listeners should know. At first, Rylan laughed it off, dodging the question, but his resistance didn’t last long.

“I might have said that I’m… it feels weird saying it on the radio!” Rylan admitted nervously.

As the moment unfolded, Lottie insisted that he spill the tea, and Rylan finally confessed that he’s been quietly seeing someone.

“I’ve kept it a secret for so long,” he said, before adding that the relationship makes him “happy” and “very content”.

Lottie revealed that she and other BBC colleagues had already met Rylan’s mystery man — and that everyone “thinks he’s lovely”.

But that’s it. Rob and Rylan is just about to come out again, our Passage to India, so I thought, let’s just put the record straight.”
