Only Robert Irwin would do this.” In the sweetest surprise of the season, the Wildlife Warrior gifted his DWTS partner Witney Carson her very own Australia Zoo uniform

Robert Irwin and his Dancing With The Stars partner Witney Carson have fast become best friends. While many fans thought their chemistry could be romantic, they have both been quick to say they are more like siblings.

The 21-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin has previously gushed about Witney, describing her as his second older sister, who is very protective of him. Now, the Wildlife Warrior has found a very sweet way to honour his new ‘sister’.

In a video he shared to Instagram, Robert gifted Witney a uniform for Australia Zoo, complete with her name on it.

“You are an honorary Irwin family member, with your very own uniform!” Robert told her.

Witney was thrilled after seeing her name on the shirt and eagerly put it on, saying: “Oh my God, it feels like home.”

“It just feels right!” Robert agreed, before showing her the second part of the gift.

“Now, back home at Australia Zoo, we had some very exciting news just come through,” he said.

“We have had a beautiful baby wallaby, and she’s absolutely gorgeous.

“And I wanted to show you for the first time — this is Witney the wallaby.”

A stunned Witney joked that the wallaby looked “just like” her, with Robert agreeing that it was “uncanny”.

The conservationist then invited Witney to join him and his family in Australia so she could meet and take care of Witney the wallaby.

Robert’s followers loved his tribute to Witney, with one person writing: “I could cry! They are perfect!”

“Literally the cutest and kindest gesture ever,” another agreed.

Others said that “this is how the Irwins show their affection”.

“He’s just like his dad – teaching people kindness and compassion,” wrote a third.

Similarly, when Robert’s sister Bindi competed on Dancing With the Stars in 2015, she invited her dance partner, Derek Hough, to the zoo and he was honoured with a koala that had been named after him.
