LeBron James might just be weeks away from his highly-anticipated return, but some still question what he’ll look like when he returns.

At 36-years-old, and after so much time away, will he still be the MVP caliber player he has been all season long?

In a chat on the subject on “the posecast,” one of LeBron’s former teammates, Mario Chalmers, gave a warning to the league, suggesting that James is on the verge of starting an amazing stretch.

“This much rest is bad for their opponent. That man is doing treatment 19 times a day in the pool. He’s just he just saving his body. That’s all he’s doing, resting his body.

I always say that Bron has one of the greatest basketball minds I’ve ever been around. Seeing things dissecting plays, knowing what teams about to run. I’ve never played with someone like that. All you doing is getting more time and you can’t do that. You got to keep going. Wear him down… This is gonna be scary. That’s why I said I’m interested to see how they come back.”

The odds are certainly stacked against LeBron and the Lakers this year. Amid injuries and a deep Western Conference, they stand just 5th in the West with a 35-24 record.

But if we’ve learned anything from Bron over the years, it’s to never count him out. With his back to the wall, LeBron is more than capable of stepping up to the plate.

Perhaps we should give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to his upcoming return…
