Country fans had so much to look forward to ahead of the 2025 CMA Awards—the performances, the jokes from host Lainey Wilson, and of course, the photos of the best-dressed stars!
The 2025 CMA Awards were held on Wednesday, November 19th. The program aired live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and was broadcast on ABC.
Some of the top nominees were Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, Zach Top, Cody Johnson, and Riley Green. Wilson and Johnson were nominated for Entertainer of the Year alongside Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and reigning winner Morgan Wallen.
The CMA Awards are known as “Country Music’s Biggest Night.” The artists take that to heart, and many roll up to the red carpet dressed in some of the most glamorous outfits their fans have ever seen.

As the host of the ceremony, we fully expected Lainey Wilson would be one of the best-dressed artists at the CMA Awards, and she was!
Lainey made jaws drop when she arrived on the red carpet in her elaborate teal jumpsuit (with bell-bottoms, of course) that featured a plunging neckline and a matching cape. Even her cowboy hat matched perfectly!
Plus, the jumpsuit had an extra fun element in the form of a sequined swirl pattern.
Five-time nominee Zach Top was all smiles at the CMA Awards, and rightfully so, because he was one of the best-dressed stars on the red carpet!
Top wore a dark blue suit, accenting his look with a large belt buckle and his signature cowboy hat.
Dan + Shay
Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay rolled up onto the CMA Awards‘ red carpet in style. They wore complementary suits, with Dan’s featuring a pinstriped pattern and Shay’s being a rich blue hue. Dan added a floral brooch to his jacket, while Shay kept things a little more subtle with a pocket square.
The guys were nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year, but lost to Brooks & Dunn, who hold the record for the most wins in the category.
Country singer and 9-1-1: Nashville star LeAnn Rimes looked ethereal in the gown she wore to the 2025 CMA Awards, making her one of the night’s best-dressed stars.
The tan-toned dress featured whimsical floral decorations with a hint of sparkle along the waist. Rimes accented her look with glitzy jewelry, coordinating shoes, and her beautiful smile.
Two of the best-dressed attendees at the 2025 CMA Awards were Brantley Gilbert and his wife, Amber.
Amber looked gorgeous in a sequined gown with wispy white feathers. She styled her hair in an elegant updo. Meanwhile, Brantley went for a classic look, donning an all-black suit for the occasion.
Famous friends and Musical Event of the Year nominees Megan Moroney and Kenny Chesney walked the red carpet together at the CMA Awards, and both of them were dressed to the nines!
Megan wore a beautiful black dress decorated from top to bottom with glimmering gems. She complemented her look with long gloves, and rhinestone-accented shoes, and styled her long, blond hair in waves.
Chesney traded his typical beachy attire for a dapper black suit and a coordinating cowboy hat.
Six-time nominee Ella Langley truly embodied the idea of a “red carpet” with her outfit for the 2025 CMA Awards. She looked stunning in an all-lace, crimson-colored dress.
Langley styled her hair in long, loose waves and added some extra flair to her look with a pair of leopard-print shoes.
It was date night at the CMA Awards for Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, who’s currently expecting their third child.
Like Langley, Combs embraced the red carpet vibe by rocking red-toned attire. He donned a burgundy-colored suit with a slightly lighter floral pattern.
Nicole looked gorgeous in a gold, metallic gown with a rosette-style pattern on the chest. She wore her hair down and complemented her look with loads of gold jewelry.
Lauren Alaina seemed to be loving every minute on the CMA Awards‘ red carpet, and she looked breathtakingly beautiful!
Alaina donned a dazzling gown with mirrored accents that covered the top and trickled down her skirt. She styled her hair in a dreamy updo.
She later explained on Instagram how her dress was inspired by her five-month-old daughter, Beni. Lauren said, “My daughter’s favorite thing to do is look in the mirror. Seeing her smile at herself and me and be in awe of our reflections has changed everything about the way I see myself.”
