Paul McCartney’s upcoming 2025 Got Back Tour now features an even 20 concerts. The Beatles legend has just added an October 25 performance at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, to the trek.
As previously reported the outing will visit a variety of cities in the U.S. and Canada this fall, kicking off September 29 in Palm Desert, California, and running through a November 24-25 stand in Chicago.
Tickets for the San Antonio show go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 1, at 10 a.m. CT. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Tuesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. CT. To access pre-sale tickets, fans can visit PaulMcCartneyGotBack.com. Those interested in purchasing tickets early also may want to check out StubHub.
McCartney previously performed at the Alamodome in May 1993, which was the first major concert ever held at the stadium. Sir Paul also played in San Antonio on October 1, 2014, at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. That show served as a fundraising benefit for the then-new venue.
Coinciding with the announcement of the new show, McCartney has posted a promo video for his Got back Tour on his social media pages. The clip features audio of Sir Paul performing the Beatles classic “Get Back” along with a montage of footage from various concerts.
As previously reported, the new leg of the Got Back Tour will feature McCartney first-ever concerts in Palm Desert and Albuquerque, New Mexico. The latter show is scheduled for October 7.
The trek also will include the 83-year-old rock legend’s first shows in Canada since 2017. McCartney will be playing three concerts in the country—on November 17 and 18 in Montreal and November 21 in Hamilton, Ontario.
McCartney launched the Got Back Tour in 2022. The most recent leg of the trek took place in December 2024, and featured a series of European concerts. The finale, held December 19 at The O2 arena in London, featured surprise appearances by Paul’s Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr and Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.
McCartney also played a trio of surprise club shows in January 2025 at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City.
Macca will be accompanied on the trek by his longtime backing band—keyboardist Paul “Wix” Wickens, guitarists Brian Ray and Rusty Anderson, and drummer Abe Laboriel Jr. The group will be augmented by the Hot City Horns, featuring trumpet player Mike Davis, saxophonist Kenji Fenton, and trombone player Paul Burton. The horn section has been touring with Sir Paul since 2017.
