Penn State football running back Nick Singleton will return for the 2025 season, he announced on Monday. Singleton will have one year of eligibility left after starting for three years with the Nittany Lions.
“We still have goals we want to reach as a team, and I want to be alongside my teammates as we reach those goals,” Singleton wrote. “I am scheduled to graduate this fall and will earn a degree from Penn State University, which has always been a goal for me.”
Singleton burst onto the scene with fellow running back Kaytron Allen during the 2022 season, where he rushed for 1,061 on 156 attempts for 12 touchdowns. Singleton didn’t match his production in his sophomore year, ending with 752 yards and eight touchdowns.
The 2024 season was more classic Singleton, as the junior managed 1,099 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Singleton joins Drew Allar, Zakee Wheatley, and Zane Durant as Nittany Lions who have announced they’ll return for the 2025 season.
