Whitney Risner, the wife of Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman Dalton Risner, is telling her story on social media about the behavior she experienced at the hands of Detroit Lions fans at Ford Field ahead of their Sunday night matchup.
She says she was “touched” by fans and “heckled” throughout the contest.
Risner was filming a “get ready with me” video showing off her outfit before the pivotal NFC North matchup between the two teams.
“Last year, I wore a flashy purple jacket, and I’ve never been heckled so much at an away game,” she said in the video.
“Little did I know that I would be heckled, touched, and called names at last night’s game by Detroit fans (Simply for being Vikings fans),” she added.
To make matters worse, Taylor Saunders, the girlfriend of Minnesota Vikings linebacker Blake Cashman, would later add that Lions fans were even worse as they were “wishing injuries on the opposing players.”

In the meantime, the Vikings will be a 14-win wild card team, the first in NFL history.
After ending a winning streak with a loss to the Lions, they will have to travel west and face the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card round.

On Sunday night, the Minnesota Vikings lost 31-9 against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.
The Lions secured the bye week and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Depending on how things play out, these same two teams could meet again in the postseason.
Whitney Risner could possibly see her husband’s team get some revenge and her possibly getting the last laugh when it is all sad and done.
