The parents of Viên Viên reveal that she breastfeeds very little and consumes a minimal amount of formula through a nasal tube. Apart from expressing joy through her eyes or the occasional laborious smile, Viên Viên is unable to produce any audible sounds. She sleeps only about 2 hours a day, and her delicate skin requires regular massage and ointment application after each bath due to its proneness to dryness.
