Matias Messi: Exploring the Life and Influence of Lionel Messi’s Older Brother

While my brother is a football superstar, a world legend, and the Savior of the Argentine people, my brother is a criminal. Matias was born on June 23, 1982 in Rosario, Argentina. Father Jorge Messi  is a manager at a steel factory, and mother Celia Cuccittini works at a magnet factory. The Messi brothers are of Italian and Spanish descent. In addition to Matias, Lionel Messi also has another brother, Rodrigo, and sister, Maria Sol.

Previously, Matias attracted attention because he was arrested many times on various charges of violating the law such as threats, theft, assault and illegal gun possession. Matias has a history of drug addiction and has committed theft. In 2011, Matias escaped an assassination attempt at his home.

In 2008, Matias was detained by police for 9 hours for illegally possessing a gun. A neighbor of Matias reported witnessing him carrying a .32 caliber revolver attached to his waist. The gun was even fully loaded when it was recovered by Rosario city police.

Before that, in 2000, Matias was involved in a robbery. Then, in 2001 and 2002, he was arrested again for threatening others. However, Matias eventually received a suitable sentence.

In 2015, Matias was arrested for possessing a gun without a license. He got into an argument with local police when they found the gun in his car. His Audi A5 was stopped during a routine patrol in Rosario.

While younger brother Messi has 8 Golden Balls, older brother Matias Messi has a lot of criminal records.

Matias stopped police officers when they tried to search the car. In the end, he even got into a fight with the police and suffered many injuries, including a cut on his eyebrow. Matias was then taken to a nearby hospital for first aid, before being charged with illegal gun possession.

In September 2016, Matias was again found carrying an unlicensed .22 caliber pistol. However, Messi’s sassy brother was not sentenced but instead had to teach football 4 hours a week for 1 year at a local club called Leones de Rosario. In addition, Matias also had to pay a fine of 8,000 pesos and was forced to undergo drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

In 2018, Matias was again charged with assaulting a police officer. It is known that Matias was assaulted when police tried to arrest him for threatening a man named Javier Rivera, after his Range Rover crashed into the man’s car in Villa Gesell.

Mr. Rivera recounted after the accident: “I parked my car and as soon as I got out, I saw the guy started insulting me, then assaulted me and tore my T-shirt. Then he returned to the car, took out his weapon and started threatening me. After struggling, he returned to the car and tried to hit me. He escaped from the police twice before being caught.”

Rivera’s lawyer, Atilio Roncoroni, said: “My client was hit from behind as he left Villa Gesell to go to the nearby resort of Pinamar, where he worked. He said the other man became angry and began to insult him, even though he had hit him first. The other guy shouted: ‘Do you know who I am?’ before returning to the car and taking something out of the trunk.

My client said he came back with a gun in his hand, like one of the pistols the police used, and there was another struggle. Witnesses said that the other man returned to his car and attempted to hit my client’s car. Then he left.”

Matias then threatened Rivera with a gun and tried to flee. When stopped by local police, he assaulted one of the officers. Matias was arrested for three crimes: illegal possession of a gun, threatening and assaulting a police officer.

Juan Pablo Calderon, the prosecutor directly handling the case, revealed: “I asked the judge to detain Matias because of the charges against him. State prosecutors are charging him with three things. One is using a gun to threaten others and cause minor injuries, two is to cause damage and the third is to resist the police.

Messi’s father and son are a mixture of criminals, tax evasion and messiahs.

We understand that he resisted because of what the charges were written in the case report. He tried to attack the officers who were identifying him. Furthermore, when inspected at that time, there was also a quantity of marijuana in Matias’ car.”

In August of that year, Matias was arrested again for illegally possessing a Bersa 380 pistol, which was found on his speedboat. After his arrest, Matias was hospitalized for a broken jaw and nose after a speedboat accident on the Panama River.

Because of this case, Matias was sentenced to 2 and a half years of probation, which means being under police supervision but not going to prison as long as the investigation continues. In addition, Messi’s god-damned brother also had to serve an additional penalty of community service.

Not only is Matias sassy in real life, he is also famous on social networks in a very sassy way. In 2013, he mocked Cristiano Ronaldo when comparing the number of trophies his younger brother Lionel won with Ronaldo on Twitter. Of course, Matias then faced countless criticisms from CR7 fans.

Matias is currently married to Roxana, his childhood girlfriend. They have a son named Tomas and a daughter named Luana. Matias owned a fruit and vegetable store and a kiosk in the city center for a time.

After that, he ventured into marketing with his younger brother Leo Mess i. After the failure of that business, Matias was involved in several jobs, such as managing the Casa Amarilla gym and a restaurant bar called “VIP” registered in his father’s name. .
