Manchester United and England striker Marcus Rashford MBE visited the Larne Academy of Sports today, spending time interacting with student players from the east Antrim football club.

The 26-year-old went to the remodeled building, which used to be called “The Cliff.” The club thanked him for taking the time to talk to the young athletes.

Someone from the club wrote on X, “We were thrilled to welcome current Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford to the Larne Academy of Sport today (January 25).”

Kenny Bruce MBE, the owner of the club, said this about Marcus’s visit: “What an incredibly inspiring person Marcus is. I was thrilled to have met him today and I hope he will visit again in the future.” Very interesting person.”

Coach Gerry Flynn, who played in the Irish League for more than 15 years with teams like Cliftonville, Ballymena, and Coleraine, called Rashford a “lovely lad” after seeing him in the town in east Antrim.
