“Let’s revisit the moment the Commanders’ locker room exploded with excitement for Dan Quinn after their comeback victory against the Eagles.” t

Washington’s roster is clearly all-in on its first-year head coach.

Dan Quinn steered his Washington Commanders ball club through a seemingly unnavigable strait Sunday afternoon, committing five turnovers against the hottest team in professional football only to emerge with a scintillating 36-33 victory over NFC North rivals Philadelphia.

So it was only fitting that Quinn was met with a raucous reception by the Washington players and staff after arriving in the Commanders locker room, igniting a remarkable roar from the Washington players before he embraced his assistant coaches and delivered a brief post-game address.

“That took every f***ing one of us, everyone in this locker room,” Quinn said to another booming cheer. “Collective f***ing mindset, it did take everybody. Congrats on No. 10 man.” Quinn offered slightly more composed thoughts on the game in his post-game media availability.

“I think it was a toughness game. And to show that you’re down for the fight to go five quarters, I talked about that early in the week,” Quinn said. “If this one goes five full quarters, that’s the mindset I want us to have. And knowing that it would be a tough game all the way through and give them credit. This is a tough group, but that’s what I said, but not anything deeper than that today.”Quinn has surpassed the rebuilding timeline of even his most optimistic supporters this season, inheriting a lowly 4-13 Commanders squad with a rookie quarterback and the NFL’s very worst scoring defense. The former Cowboys defensive coordinator underwent a complete overhaul of the unit in Washington, welcoming 10 new starters into the fold while dropping the Commanders’ points allowed average by nearly a touchdown. Meanwhile, his appointment of offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury proved astute as well, with the former Arizona Cardinals coach maximizing the potential of rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The former LSU star ranks fourth among all quarterbacks in QBR and turned in another masterful performance against Philadelphia, navigating past five team turnovers and a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to fire a game-winning touchdown strike.  RELATED ARTICLESPackers Bracing for Injured Playmaker to Be Out Several Weeks Ahead of Cardinals GameSteelers’ Beanie Bishop Jr. Gets Honest About Competing With Cam SuttonJustin Jefferson now part of elite Vikings group with Randy Moss and Cris CarterWalking Dead: Dead City Season 2’s New Villain Teased By Star & EP: “Dangerous Levity”12/23/2024THE LATESTEagles Make Major Announcement on $51 Million Edge RusherSPORT -7 giờThe Philadelphia Eagles haven’t gotten much of a return on investment when it comes to the 3-year, $51.1 million free agent contract signed by edge rusher Bryce Huff in March 2024.
