Landen Roldan senior highlights show Georgia signed a prolific playmaker at wide receiver

Bogart (Ga.) North Oconee wide receiver Landon Roldan arrives in Athens as one of the nation’s most explosive playmakers, coming off a prolific senior season. The 6-foot, 180-pound former four-star prospect chose Georgia over Georgia Tech and eight other offers back in late June. Roldan is one of five wide receiver signees for assistant James Coley in the 2025 cycle, joining former four-stars CJ Wiley and Talyn Taylor, and former three-stars Tyler Williams and Thomas Blackshear.  Roldan is ranked as the No. 43 wide receiver and No. 46 overall recruit in Georgia by 247Sports.

Was named Class 4A Region 8 Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. Roldan had 76 catches for 1,396 yards and 20 touchdowns, adding 184 rushing yards and four touchdowns, as well as two interceptions on defense. As a junior, he led the Titans to a 12-1 record and GHSA Class 4A quarterfinals, making 50 receptions for 1,029 yards and 13 touchdowns along with 14 carries for 79 yards and three touchdowns. Named the Class 4A Region 8 Athlete of the Year. Also plays baseball and has a ‘Perfect Game Grade’ of 9. Ran a 60-yard dash of 6.65 seconds and a 4.37 40-yard dash. Roldan earned an offer from Georgia during the 7on7 camp in Athens over the summer.

“They were doing a 7-on-7 that day, and usually when they’re doing that, they pull people out of lunch to do a workout with the coaches. They invited me to the workout during lunch. I wasn’t at the 7-on-7, but I showed up for the workout. I did a few drills, a few 1-on-1s,” Roldan told Dawgs247. “After it, Coach Smart pulled me aside and said, ‘We’re going to offer you.’ I was pretty excited, pumped up about it. They’ve been my school since I was younger, so I was just pretty excited.”

The Dawgs’ coaching staff had already seen him impress in a camp setting, with Roldan running 4.38 and 4.42 40-yard dash times in front of the staff.

“I’ll hear from one of them daily. We text a good bit, and it’s normally about how I’m doing, how I’m feeling, and that they’re excited to see me on the official visit,” Roldan said. “Before the camp, we weren’t really in contact. After the camp, we’ve been talking and texting. Ever since I’ve gotten the offer, it’s picked up a lot.”

Below is his 247Sports Scouting Report, from 247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins, which comes with a player comparison of Ladd McConkey.

“Late-blooming wide receiver known for his straight-line speed, quick acceleration and crisp route running. Excels in stretching defenses and consistently creating separation downfield. Also demonstrates strong run-after-catch abilities as he breaks tackles and finds green grass. Tested off the charts summer before senior season, which put him firmly on the radar of college coaches. Additional athletic context includes a notable 6.65-second effort in the 60-yard dash from Perfect Pitch, highlighting his decorated background on the baseball diamond. Must develop some mass as he lacks the ideal measurables for the position, but offers a valuable skill set as he can attack the deeper third and create chunk plays. Projects as a multi-year contributor at the Power Four level and a potential special teams ace given how he impacts the game in all three phases on Friday nights.”
