The Keeping Up With The Kardashians teen shows that ‘the pain’ was worth it
Kylie Jenner has been working her new platinum blondes to the max, teaming it with a daring red outfit.
The teen reality star, who spent “all day” bleaching her dark locks on Sunday, stepped out in New York on Tuesday night.
While some have suggested that Kylie is copying her older sister Kim Kardashian with her blonde dresses and vampish style, with the red leather mini-skirt and basque, we’re actually thinking it’s very Madonna.
Kylie, 19, was joined by her friends for dinner at Nobu ahead of her brother-in-law Kanye West’s fashion show on Wednesday.
Kylie, who has previously walked the catwalk for Kanye’s Yeezy collection, has been confirmed as a model for Alexander Wang’s autumn 2016 cast of #WangSquad.
Last summer the teen starred in a Balmain campaign with her big sister Kendall.
But she won’t be alone for Alexander Wang’s ‘squad’, as she’ll be joined by her boyfriend Tyga, Big Sean, Tinashe, Zoë Kravitz as well as many others.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star spent “all day” having her dark chocolate locks bleached after taking inspiration from her half-sister Kourtney Kardashian’s bottle blonde ‘do from when she was 16 years old.
She kept fans guessing over what shade she was going for by placing a black and white filter over top of the sH๏τ.
Kylie then added a short video of her gazing into the lens as she scratched her hair with a sharp dividing comb.
She accompanied the clip with the caption: “The pain.”
Kylie’s decision to change up her look comes five days after she shared a throwback pH๏τograph of Kourtney in 1995.
The 37-year-old beauty decided to ditch her dark look for a vibrant blonde style 21 years ago but only managed to stick out the eye-catching ‘do for a month before dying it back.
Writing on her app last week, Kourtney said alongside the throwback: “Even though I’ll probably never do something this extreme with my hair again – because it destroyed my hair and took forever to get healthy – I’m happy I tried it once.”
