While the music world rings in Ozzy Osbourne‘s first birthday after his death with a heavy heart, the ache is even more profound for the Osbourne family. Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, is marking her father’s birthday with a message filled with love and grief.

“Happy birthday daddy you most certainly did not die an ordinary man!” Kelly wrote.

“Life without you is hard, but not a day goes by that I don’t dedicate my life to loving you and your legacy! I miss you more than anything in the world. I love you until eternity! What I would not give to watch you blow out just one more candle 🕯️”

Ozzy died in July at the age of 76. His family shared at the time, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Ozzy battled Parkinson’s disease before his death and is survived by his wife Sharon, six children, and multiple grandchildren.

Kelly has been open about how difficult milestones feel without her father. “Tomorrow is going to be a first for me. The first birthday without my dad,” she wrote before turning 41. “Every year the thing I look forward to the most was spending the day with him and the cards he would write to me.”

She added, “Knowing that I will never get one again shatters my heart. They were always short, simple, but said everything I needed to hear. I love you, Daddy. Tomorrow will suck without you.”

Even simple moments sting. “We are meant to be putting up the tree today,” Kelly shared in an Instagram Story, posting throwback footage of Ozzy decorating for Christmas. “It won’t be the same.”

In another clip, she hugged her half-brother Louis Osbourne, writing, “Look who showed up? My Lou Lou. My big brother! I love you so much, Louis.”

When Louis joked about whether there was a filter on their photo, Kelly replied, “Yes, we have to look perfect because I look like s*** right now.”

Sharon Osbourne, 73, is leaning on her family as she navigates life without husband Ozzy. She made a rare public appearance months after Ozzy’s death. She attended a London cocktail launch for designer Rebecca Vallance on Wednesday, November 26, with Kelly by her side.

“Had the best time with my mum and @rebeccavallancegasan at the @rebeccavallance new launch,” Kelly wrote on Instagram. “I have never worn a dress like it before. It took me out of my comfort zone of black and made my bubblegum pink dreams come true. Her dresses always make me feel amazing.”

The outing marked the mother-daughter duo’s first event together since Ozzy’s passing.

Kelly grew up in the spotlight thanks to her rock-star father and their MTV reality series “The Osbournes,” which turned the family into pop-culture icons.

Today, she balances family life in a quieter setting with her fiancé, Sid Wilson, and their 3-year-old son, Sidney.

In a recent Instagram post, she shared a rare look at their farm life in Iowa. The carousel showed the family doing chores, playing with animals, and posing on equipment.
