‘Gimme the Ball!’: Jadon Sancho’s Entertaining Request to Teammate Niclas Fullkrug for Penalty Duty at Borussia Dortmund

Despite “begging” his Borussia Dortmund teammate Niclas Fullkrug for the penalty kick, JADON SANCHO was unable to get it.

The 23-year-old loan player from Manchester United made his debut on Saturday, the first time since going back to the German giants.

It ended well for Dortmund, who beat Koln 4-0 to tie for fourth place with RB Leipzig following the same number of points.

But there was a weird moment in the second half when Sancho got a penalty for being down in the box.

The 30-year-old striker Fullkrug picked up the ball as he got ready to take a shot from 12 yards out.

But Sancho then went up to the German player and tried to take the ball away from him.

Sky Sports reporter Patrick Berger said the English player was yelling, “Gimme the Ball, Gimme the Ball!”

He is also said to have “begged” Fullkrug for the punishment but was turned down.

Fullkrug scored the penalty kick just before the hour mark to give Dortmund a 2-0 lead.

Sancho was then removed after eight minutes, but he didn’t score because the first goal of his second stint took a little longer to come.

It comes after he set up a goal when he came on as a substitute against Darmstadt last weekend.

During his first time at Dortmund, he played 136 games scored 50 goals, and set up 65 others.

And Man United fans praised his good start back in Germany after he smartly won the spot against Koln.

Someone said, “What a player .”

Someone else said, “Keep it up, kid!”

“Where was this guy for the last two years?” asked a third.

A public fight between Sancho and Erik ten Hag, Man Utd’s manager, caused him to leave the team on loan.

The club is glad to have him back, but there is no buyout clause in his short-term deal.
