Exploring the Former Residence of Man Utd Legend Paul Scholes: Listed for £3.9 Million with a Football Field and Billiards Table Game Room, Following His Recent Separation

After splitting up with his wife Claire, Paul Scholes has put his huge, fancy house on the market for an unbelievable £3.9 million.

The 45-year-old Manchester United star chose to sell the house just a few weeks after Claire moved out of their home together and stopped wearing her wedding ring.

The wealthy 13,000-square-foot home has been home to Scholes and his family, which includes his three children, for 21 years.

Soon after the 1998 World Cup, the England star bought the pad.

There are seven bedrooms in the house, which is called one of the “finest homes in Saddleworth” in Greater Manchester.

Scholes’s house has its own football field, home gym, and putting green. It was completely rebuilt and fixed up in 2015.

In keeping with the sports theme, the house even has a netball court. Their 18-year-old daughter Alicia is almost ready to join the Manchester Thunder team.

As an added bonus, the Saddleworth home has a separate “executive detached house” set up in the landscaped grounds.

There is also a steam room, sauna, indoor heated pool, home theater, and games room, among other great features.

But it looks like the Scholeses will be leaving their home after Paul and Claire break up.

A source told The Sun that both men, who are 45 years old, are “devastated.”

“You have to feel sorry for them because family is the most important thing to both of them,” they said.

“No one saw this coming; they’ve been together for a long time.”

Scholes grew up on a housing estate that seemed very different from their home in Saddleworth. He met Claire in his local pub when they were both 18.

After six years, they got married.

Scholes shared a lot of pictures of himself and Claire on Instagram, but the most recent one was in February. He is thought to be worth £27 million.

He even said that Claire was the reason he quit England service in 2004: he missed her too much while he was away.
