Erik ten Hag enjoys a candlelit dinner with agent Kees Vos after Man Utd’s chaotic draw with Tottenham

Erik TEN HAG had dinner with his agent Kees Vos after Manchester United and Tottenham tied.

They were ahead twice, but Spurs came back to beat them.

Scott McTominay also missed a late chance to win the game, which finished in a 2-2 draw.

There were, however, many good things about the game for Ten Hag, such as Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford scoring goals for his team.

He had dinner with Vos at an Italian place called La Famiglia in Hale Village, Cheshire, after the game, with candles lit.

The United manager has been busy since the beginning of the month when he met with new investors Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford.

Ratcliffe went to Old Trafford to watch the Spurs game and sat next to Sir Alex Ferguson.

Even though he had his head in his hands at one point, Ten Hag is expected to keep his job as boss for a while.

That’s because Ratcliffe wants to do a full study of the structure, which could take up to two months.

Ratcliffe and Brailsford want to take a close look at the football team to try to solve the “performance challenge” they face.

It is expected that the club will hire a new sporting director and director of football. Ineos is making a list of possible candidates.

Darren Fletcher is the technical director and John Murtough is the sports director. Both of them are in danger.

It is said that Brailsford wants to sign former Liverpool trade expert Julian Ward.

Michael Edwards, who used to be the sports director at Liverpool, and Paul Mitchell, who used to be the transfer manager for Tottenham, are also in the running.
