Drew Barrymore was in a reminiscing mood on Saturday morning as the actress took to Instagram to share adorable throwback photos with young Tom Holland.

The 46-year-old Scream star posted two snaps from the time she first met the ‘incredible’ actor, 25, accompanied by a gushing caption.

‘Tom Holland I remember meeting you what was it? 2011? And I was so captivated by you,’ she began her post.

In the images the actress is seen with her arm around the young star as they sit in what appears to be a restaurant.

In another shot the two are pictured outside, with Barrymore protectively walking ahead of Tom. 

Drew went on to say, ‘I had just watched your movie and we were meeting about a project I was going to direct and I truly thought you were the most impressive and incredible person as well as such an extraordinary talent!’ she praised the young star.

Barrymore continued by listing the Spider-Man: Homecoming star’s accomplishments. 

‘But! Watching you grow up! Fall in love with the greatest women @zendaya and become our hero! From Spider-Man to the greatest dancer in a billy Elliot and @lipsyncbattle And now you will play Fred Astaire hopefully ??? There is nothing you can’t and won’t do!’ she wrote.

The actress then reminisced on how vividly she remembers the moment she met Holland.

Holland reportedly stands at 5 feet, 8 inches tall, while Zendaya comes in at 5 feet, 10 inches.

Barrymore praised the two for ‘breaking old stigmas that are still hanging around’ regarding women being taller than men.

Meanwhile Mathews agreed, saying, ‘This is ridiculous. You know when you go to the carnival, it’s like, “You must be this tall to ride this ride?” You have to be this tall to date Zendaya? No!’
