For example, Cade Cunningham picked LeBron James as the GOAT over Michael Jordan, but an older player in Hakeem Olajuwon believes Michael Jordan is a far superior player to LeBron James.

Damian Lillard is the latest player to express his opinion on this subject. When asked by Twitter user @BigBabyJonathan about who the GOAT is, Lillard responded with two simple letters: “MJ”.

It makes sense that Damian Lillard would consider Michael Jordan the GOAT, as he has previously stated that Michael Jordan is his favorite player of all time. The same can be said for a lot of his peers, who grew up watching Michael Jordan play and dazzle crowds. There is no question that Michael Jordan left a lasting impact on a whole generation of basketball players who watched him.

He also ended up leading the Bulls in a sweep of that same team the next season. Michael Jordan definitely has one of the best cases for being the greatest, and there are few who will argue otherwise.
