Chris Brown Gets Stuck in the Air While Singing “Under the Influence” in Newark

It’s always funny when something slightly inconvenient befalls a controversial pop act, but it’s rarely this punny. Chris Brown, also known as Chris Breezy, finally lived up to his nickname by getting stuck suspended in the air at his Newark concert last night, June 12, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While performing the song “Under the Influence,” his wires malfunctioned mid-song, leaving him to complete the number “Goofy Goober” style. A visibly uncomfortable Brown gestured for crew to get him down. Eventually, they brought a ladder out to free him from his right and prophesied place: dangling in a New Jersey arena anxious for someone to get him down while the Prudential Center breeze hits his face. According to reports, Brown said he was angry about the technical difficulties at the end of the two-hour concert but made light of the situation. We’re sure Usher chuckled at the news, too.
