Four UFOs appeared in Belgium on March 30, 1990. They were triangular objects emitting points of light in the night sky. In front of 13,500 people, they easily escaped the radar blockade of many F-16 fighter jets, and then disappeared in four different directions.

The Belgian UFO Wave refers to a series of meaningful sightings of triangular UFOs that occurred in Belgium from November 29, 1989 to April 1990.

On November 29, 1989, more than 30 witness groups and three police teams in Belgium reported seeing a large unidentified object flying at low altitude. This UFO has a flat triangular shape, the surface below emits light like a lamp. It flew over Belgium without making any sound. People continued to track the UFO’s whereabouts and discovered it was moving from the city center of Liege, Belgium to the border between the Netherlands and Germany.

The circumstances that pushed this event to its climax occurred on the night of March 30-31, 1990, when a strange object detected by radar that night appeared. The Belgian Air Force then dispatched two F-16 fighter jets to pursue it, and an estimated 13,500 people witnessed the proceedings. 2,600 people reported details of what they saw, and the Belgian Air Force also issued an incident report after the incident, as follows: 

At around 11 pm on March 30, the management of the Control Reporting Center in Krones received a report that there were three anomalous lights heading in front of Dulumbe-Leuble, southeast of Brussels. These points of light are brighter than stars, and their color constantly changes between red, green, and yellow. At the same time they appear to be fixed at the vertices of an equilateral triangular object.

The Klone Control Reporting Center sent a request to Wavre’s gendarmerie to send a patrol to check on UFO sightings. After 10 minutes, a second group of bright spots was seen moving toward the first triangular object. Wavre’s gendarmerie confirmed the initial sighting, and Krones’ control reporting center was able to detect its presence on radar. During this time, after the light spots undergo irregular changes, the second group of light spots turns into a triangle with a smaller volume.

As everyone tracked the target and received radar confirmation from the traffic control center in Semosak, two F-16 fighters were flown out of Beaufuchamp Air Force Base just before midnight, while two The group of light points remained relatively fixed in position with each other, moving slowly in the air. In addition, witnesses reported that two lights moving towards the city of Egerze showed unusual behavior similar to the second group of lights.

The two F-16 fighters attempted then nine separate interceptions, followed by three successful radar blockades lasting several seconds, but because the target quickly changed position and speed, they escaped. lockdown. lockdown. During the first radar blockade, the UFO immediately accelerated from 240km/h to 1,700km/h, and descended to an altitude of 1,200m in less than 2 seconds. Then, when it was about to hit the ground, it rose again to 3,350m in the blink of an eye and escaped the radar blockade in the same way.
