In May 1963, NASA astronaut Gordon Cooper was admiring a beautiful view of Earth from orbit when suddenly a mysterious green sphere appeared from the dark depths of space and approached his spacecraft.

He stayed with Cooper for a couple of minutes and then disappeared without a trace.
