Cox, 56, shared a clip of Aniston, 51, whispering a message in her and Kudrowโ€™s ears before the trio got in formation to pose for a photo.

A banner across the bottom of the video read: โ€œFriends donโ€™t let friends skip elections.โ€

Coxโ€™s caption featured another reminder for her US followers, telling fans: โ€œText FRIENDS to 26797 to make sure you are registered. And tag your FRIENDS below to remind them to check their registration #RegisterAFriendDay @iamavoter.โ€

Kudrow also posted a snap of the group standing in front of the same leafy backdrop, along with a similar reminder.

Aniston, meanwhile, shared a scene from Friends, showing her character Rachel Green with her hand over her mouth in shock.

The US elections are scheduled to take place across the US on November 3, with current President Donald Trump hoping to be re-elected for a second term and Democratic candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden standing against him.

Rapper Kanye West has also claimed that he will join the race for the White House, though it is thought that he has missed registration deadlines in a number of US states.

The I Am A Voter non-partisan campaign has recruited a number of high-profile names to encourage Americans to register to vote and to ensure that their friends do, too.

Iron Man co-stars Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow were among the stars to take part, sharing a clip from a video call between them in aid of the cause.
