Unknown Truth: How Did the Blue Jays Lose Control?

There is one blue J member that has been under Fire the entire season and could very well be the reason why the Blue Jays are pretty underwhelming this year, and that blue Jay member is John Schneider this year.

If you said to yourself, why is he getting taken out of the game or why isn’t he in the lineup, or maybe even a, I would have never made that move if I was manager.

Then you’ve probably been watching the 2023 Toronto Blue Jays managed by John Schneider.

John Schneider has made questionable lineups, odd Bullpen usage and questionable hooks all year long, which has caused blue J fans and blue J analysts to speak up about their dislike of his decision-making.

For example, recently, John Schneider benched Davis Schnider in a matchup against the Oakland Athletics, where it’s pretty much a must-win game at this point, and he benched him because of matchups and analytics.

I don’t think anybody needs to be a numbers guy to know that you do not sit your hottest player that has literally been carrying your offense for the last month of baseball, and blue Jay’s analyst and former Major League catcher, Caleb Joseph, voiced frustration about Jn Scher’s lineup decisions on live television.

Yeah, That’s not a good look for the Blue Jays manager, and John Schneer also made a questionable decision: not pinch running for Kirk in the eighth inning with less than one out again in a game where you need to get that run in and Kirk being the Dh, defensive substitutions didn’t matter in that situation, but John Schneider claiming to stick by the book, saying he would do that move 10 out of 10 times because he wasn’t the tying run, and many fans voiced their disagreement about this decision, including us here at Blue Jays.

Today, and like lastly, a year where the Blue Jays only ranked 16th in home runs, we have barely seen the sack bunt be used by John Schneider.

The Blue Jays only have three sack bunts this season and in situations where the sack bunt could be used, the Blue Jays do it- 72% less than the Mlb average.

And because we’re not hitting home runs this year, the Blue Jays have got to find other ways to score runs now.

With all that being said, is John Schneider truly the reason why the Blue Jays are underwhelming this year?

Now, at the time of recording this video, Blue Jay’s manager, John Schneider, has a winning percentage of 575.

That’s on Pace for a 93 win season.

That’s pretty good.

That’s a playoff team record right there and you still have a lot of players that are underperforming this season, like vlat, like Springer, like Kirk, who was an All-Star last year, and you can’t blame John Schneider for how those guys handle their app Bs.

And you also can’t blame John Schneider for the Blue Jays not coming up with runners in scoring position.

Sorry guys, but the players, they’re the ones that have to do that.

So yes, while John Schneider is managing this team to a playoff record, do I think that John Schneider gets the best out of this team?

Now back to the content.

Unfortunately, I don’t think so.

I actually made this video trying to find a reason to root for him, to try and dispel all of the negativity out there, but I don’t think that he’s learned how to put this team team, this Toronto Blue Jays team this season, in the best situation to win.

And, truthfully, I don’t think we’ll ever fully know whether John Schneider is getting the best out of this team, but, based on all the evidence?

I don’t think he is, but I guess we’ll see how the Blue Jays finish this season

And we’ll leave it up to upper management to decide whether they think he’s best for this team.
