Centre County working to renew tax agreement with Penn State

Kurt Rillema — alleged golf course rapist

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — A man accused in a Centre County rape case, which dates back 25 years, has been sentenced in a similar case in Michigan.

Kurt Rillema is charged with raping a woman on a Penn State golf course back in 2000.

Police say DNA recovered from a coffee cup used by Rillema links him to the crime.

In Michigan, he was charged in a similar case that police say also happened on a golf course in 1999.

Rillema pleaded no contest to sexual assault charges there, and this week, he was sentenced to ten to fifteen years in prison.
