The Tennessee Volunteers are looking to bolster their roster for another run at the national championship in 2025.
Tennessee participated in the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff but suffered a brutal 42-17 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the first round.
Following the loss to the Buckeyes, Tennessee has been hit with an exodus of players who have entered the transfer portal.
With the addition of linebacker Kalib Perry, who reportedly entered the transfer portal on Monday, the Volunteers have lost 18 players to the portal, per 247Sports.
Perry leaves the program after three years with the Volunteers, where he produced a total of one forced fumble and 61 tackles.
Perry was originally recruited to the Volunteers as a three-star prospect, ranked as the No. 77 linebacker and No. 826 overall player in the 247Sports composite rankings.
Out of high school, the 6-foot-3 linebacker received several Power Four offers, including Cincinnati, Purdue, Kentucky, and Virginia.

Perry now joins over 3,300 people in the NCAA transfer portal, per On3 Sports.
The Kentucky native is the fifth defensive player to announce his decision to transfer from Tennessee. Perry, along with the rest of the Volunteers who have yet to sign with another program, still have the chance to withdraw their names from the transfer portal and return to Tennessee.
