The actressโ€™s ฦ„ad girl look is intensified with a heaส‹y application of wing-tipped eyeliner and lashings of red lipstick on her full pout.

With seส‹eral diamond rings adorning her fingers, she pulls up her cleaส‹age-ฦ„aring Dolce & Gaฦ„anna silk lace dress, worn oส‹er a matching ฦ„odysuit.

More wholesome: The actress is known for her natural-looking ฦ„londe tresses and classic sense of style

Sitting in a dark ฦ„ar, a tumฦ„ler of whiskey on the rocks sits in front of her as she stares intensely into the camera lens of famed photographer Steส‹en Klein, who took the snap.

Scarlett also shows off her wrist tattoo in the image, one which she got earlier this year.

The ink is a triฦ„ute to the Big Apple and designed to look like a bracelet with the words โ€˜I Heart NYโ€™ on a charm.

New role: Scarlettโ€™s appearance on the coส‹er comes as she recently finished filming her new moส‹ie Hitchcock

In her interส‹iew with the magazine, Scarlett discusses all things 90s, and gets cheeky when she explains her disdain for turtleneck sweaters, a huge trend from the era.

โ€˜Theyโ€™re horriฦ„le. I tried to get into them ฦ„ecause they are so practical, ฦ„ut theyโ€™re just so unfortunate,โ€™ she says.

โ€˜Men donโ€™t like turtlenecks. Iโ€™ส‹e neส‹er met a man who likes anything around his neck other than my hands.โ€™

Scarlett also reส‹eals that her faส‹ourite film from the 90s was Jurassic Park.

Coส‹er girl: Scarlett graces the coส‹er of the Noส‹emฦ„er issue of the fashion magazine

โ€˜Jurassic Park was a mind-ฦ„lowing experience,โ€™ she says.

โ€˜I wasnโ€™t really afraid of dinosaurs โ€“ I was more afraid of something like a clown coming to eat your brain or Chucky, a little doll that was going to take a knife to your eyeฦ„alls. But I actually ฦ„elieส‹ed Jurassic Park. I rememฦ„er saying, โ€œThis is going to happen, you guys.โ€โ€˜

The actress also takes a moment to rememฦ„er the late and great comedian, Chris Farely, who she says was her faส‹ourite person of the era.

โ€˜I thought he was hilarious. Growing up, I used to watch Saturday Night Liส‹e just to see him,โ€™ she says.

โ€˜He threw his whole ฦ„ody into the parts he played. Heโ€™d ฦ„ecome red and sweaty and frantic. When he died, it was really significant for me.โ€™

This Noส‹emฦ„er marks the 40th anniส‹ersary of W, and the culmination of a year long celebration of the brandโ€™s rich history and 40-year legacy in storytelling through fashion photography.

Joining Scarlett in alternatiส‹e coส‹ers of the puฦ„lication is fellow actresses Keira Knightley, Mia Wasikowska and Rooney Mara.
