David Guetta Stirs Up Storm by Using AI to Feature Eminem’s Voice in His Latest Track! Fans Divided: Genius or Blasphemy? t

A debate surrounding the use of artificial intelligence has made its way into the EDM world after David Guetta replicated the voice of Eminem for a song made and debuted during a recent performance.

The French DJ, 55, shared a video of himself last week playing a song during one of his sets which featured the voice of the ‘Not Afraid’ rapper.

However, the ‘When Love Takes Over’ musician revealed he actually used AI technology to add the voice of Eminem to one of his songs.

“Let me introduce you to… Emin-AI-em,” he wrote in the Twitter video’s caption. Guetta is filmed as he hypes up the enormous crowd with the replica of Marshall Mathers’ voice chanting: “This is the future rave sound / I’m getting awesome and underground.”

The two-time Grammy winner is then seen in another clip being interviewed about how the unusual collaboration came to be through the use of AI-generating websites.

“Eminem bro, there’s something that I made as a joke and it works so good — I could not believe it!,” Guetta said. “Basically you can write lyrics in the style of any artist you like, so I typed: ‘write a verse in the style of Eminem about future rave,’ and I went to another AI website that can recreate the voice.

“I put the text in that and I played the record and people went nuts.”

Before hip hop and EDM fans have a meltdown over the unauthorised use of Eminem’s ‘vocals’ on the track, Guetta clarified that he ‘obviously’ won’t release the song commercially, which immediately led to a debate.

While some were calling for the song to be released, others thought the use of AI technology to create it was ‘scary’.

“Check with Em, cause that is freaking cool!,” one fan replied.

“Ask him, but I want that track,” demanded another Twitter user.

While a third snarky comment read: “Eminem might come back with an AI diss track.”

However one fan criticised the AI experiment, writing: “The most depressing thing maybe ever.”

While another less than impressed commenter wrote: “It’s interesting tbh but you could also asked the actual Eminem to be in the song for you. Since Ai is getting so big everyone is like since no one is putting out music I’ll just use Ai to do it for me it’s getting so scary.”

Guetta’s track arrives as more AI-generated content has been unleashed on TikTok, with tech-savvy fans using AI software to make songs sound like another artist is singing them. One viral AI remix which has drawn attention is Ariana Grande ‘signing’ Normani’s song ‘Motivation’. Other artists like Bad Bunny and Billie Eilish have also been replicated.
