Tom Holland has said that he’d love to be the next James Bond.
The actor, 24, was speaking on the latest episode of Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast when he admitted that he’s very keen on bagging the coveted role.
Tom joked that he ‘looks pretty good in a suit’ and didn’t hesitate to make it clear that he’d jump at the chance to be the next 007.

Tom admitted: ‘I mean, ultimately, as a young British lad who loves cinema, I’d love to be James Bond. So, you know, I’m just putting that out there. I look pretty good in a suit.’
‘I’d be like a really short James Bond’ quipped the 5ft 6in Spider-Man star.
Tom is currently promoting new Apple TV film Cherry and is in the middle of filming the upcoming Spider-Man film.

Tom’s comment comes after Bridgerton hunk Regรฉ-Jean Page, 31, hinted that he could be a good contender to succeed Daniel Craig as James Bond.
Several big names have been tipped for the role since the announcement that Daniel Craig will be stepping down.
Stars including Idris Elba, Outlander’s Sam Heughan, James Norton and Tom Hardy have all been suggested as contenders for the part.

But, in January, Ladbrokes revealed that they had slashed the odds on Regรฉ-Jean playing Bond next, as it went from 40/1 to just 16/1 in betting now.
According to the gambling company, Regรฉ-Jean is now seen as more likely to take the part than Jamie Bell and Chris Hemsworth, while he is neck-and-neck with Michael Fassbender.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: ‘Rege-Jean Page has shot up the betting and is now firmly considered a frontrunner in the race to replace Daniel Craig as 007.’

A new release for the movie was shared on the film’s official Twitter account, revealing the latest expected date is October 8, 2021.
