Nike has made it clear that they no longer have a relationship with Mason Greenwood after the on-loan Getafe forward shared social media posts with the brand’s coaches.

Greenwood’s sponsors,  Nike, fired him in February 2022, after he was arrested the month before on charges of attempted rɑpe and ɑttɑck.

The charges against Greenwood were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Services in February. Greenwood has always denied doing anything wrong. 

In August, Greenwood was loaned to La Liga team Getafe by Manchester United. This was after an internal review showed that the Premier League giants decided that his future would not be with the club.

One of the 22-year-old’s social media posts on Tuesday showed off a few pairs of £23,000  Nike sneakers.

People saw the shoes coming out of a Chrome Hearts Cemetery Cross Duffle Bag that cost £4,600.

Around £9,000 for a pair of platinum Cactus Plant Flea Market Pure Platinum  Nike Dunk Lows and £2113 for a pair of desert moss ones.

The price of his black Nike Air Force 1 Low ’07 is crɑzy high: £12,404.

Greenwood has been posting pictures of goods on social media, but Nike has denied that they are dating the forward.

A Nike rep told The Sun, “Mason Greenwood is no longer a Nike athlete.”

Greenwood still doesn’t have a boot backer because  Nike dropped him after he was arrested.

He was seen working in  Nike Mercurial Superfly 4 boots that were seven years old since the company no longer makes him new shoes. 

This season, the Getafe forward has also played games in old  Nike shoes.

This season, he has scored three goals in ten games for Spain, but only one of them has been in La Liga. 

The baby that Greenwood and his partner Harriet Robson had together was born in July, but no one knows what the baby’s nɑme or gender is.

Even though his deal with Manchester United doesn’t end until 2025, both sides decided that he would leave the club in August.

We don’t know if he will be sold or moved to another team next season.
