Mason Greenwood is starting to enjoy life again now that he is not playing for Manchester United.

As of late, the forward who is owned by Manchester United has been doing very well on loan at La Liga team Getafe. In 11 league games this season, he has scored two goals and set up three others.

He got his best score last week. His goal against Almeria was called a “contender for goal of the season.”

In this week’s game against Las Palmas, he was looking to keep up his good form. How did he do?

Mason Greenwood will not be pleased with how he played against Las Palmas.

This time, he was on the losing side. Las Palmas won 2-0, with goals in the 43rd and 92nd minutes sealing the victory for the home team.

Greenwood almost scored a beautiful goal. He got the ball on the right wing in the 13th minute and did some smooth stepovers to cut inside. The announcer called this spot his “most dangerous.”

Then he shot with his left foot, but it missed the post by a few inches. Without a doubt the best play of the game.

The second half was always going to be hard because Greenwood’s partner Olmar Alderete was sent off in the 48th minute for a very careless tackle.

And he didn’t do much else for the rest of the game. Getafe didn’t have many chances. This was their fourth loss of the season, and they are now in 10th place in La Liga.
