Gal Gadot, the lead actress of Wonder Woman 1984, has recently shared some behind-the-scenes fun from the movie set. In a TikTok video that she posted on Tuesday, she revealed her โ€œfirst time dancingโ€ on the popular app. The 35-year-old Israeli actress, who plays the titular role in the movie, looked stunning in an 80s-inspired pink sweater dress and neon accessories.

She danced to the classic Cyndi Lauper hit โ€œGirls Just Wanna Have Funโ€ with her hair and makeup team. Her movie has been doing exceptionally well at the box office, making it the top-grossing film of the week.

Having fun: Gal Gadot delighted her fans by sharing her debut dancing TikTok on Tuesday, showcasing a playful moment behind the scenes of the Wonder Woman 1984 shoot.

With a big smile on her face, Gal Gadot appeared to be thoroughly enjoying herself as she settled into her seat and was pampered by a team of three professionals who were wearing face shields as a precautionary measure against the spread of coronavirus. To ensure an extra layer of safety, the actressโ€™s dressing room was located outdoors in the fresh air instead of inside a stuffy trailer. As she lip-synced, her hair and makeup team got to work, but they couldnโ€™t resist busting a move when the famous chorus kicked in. Even while remaining seated, the super-heroine threw her hands up and danced along.

Completely awesome! The 35-year-old Israeli actress looked like she was straight out of the 80s, wearing a pink sweater dress and vibrant neon accessories as she jammed out to Cyndi Lauperโ€™s iconic Girls Just Wanna Have Fun with her hair and makeup crew.

Happy group: Gal appeared to be enjoying herself while receiving make-up services from three professionals who wore face shields for protection against the transmission of COVID-19.

Absolutely captivating: While Gadot playfully mouthed the words, her hair and makeup crew got to work. However, they couldnโ€™t resist swaying to the beat as soon as the famous chorus kicked in.

Gal shared a humorous moment on Instagram by uploading some behind the scenes pictures of her fun and quirky appearance. She laughed at herself in the caption, saying that she never thought she would dance on Tiktok but she did it anyway. She also encouraged her followers to check it out! The news of the Patty Jenkins-directed filmโ€™s record-breaking box office earnings of $16.7 million in North America probably added to Galโ€™s excitement.

Although it cannot compare to the original Wonder Woman movieโ€™s over $100 million opening, Warner Bros. still considers Wonder Woman 1984 a success, especially since only 35% of U.S. cinemas are currently open. The studio has even announced that they will fast-track a third film in the franchise, with Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins returning.

Wonder Woman 1984 was also released on the HBO Max streaming platform, but there is no word on how many people have watched it. According to Variety, most of the ticket sales in the U.S. came from private watch parties, where customers rented out screening rooms at cinema chains for around $100 each.

Wonder Woman 1984 has become a blockbuster hit during the pandemic, earning the title of the highest-grossing theatrical release. The superhero film premiered in movie theaters on Christmas Day and generated a revenue of $16.7 million at the North American box office over the weekend. When combined with its international takings, the movie has garnered a global total of $85 million as of Sunday. Wonder Woman 1984โ€™s predecessor, released in 2017, set a record for the biggest opening by a female filmmaker and grossed $822 million worldwide. The sequel was originally projected to earn close to $1 billion in box office receipts before the pandemic but is now expected to make around $180 million, according to reports from Variety.

Although the opening generated by the 2020 Wonder Woman film is much lower than the original 2017 film, it is still considered a successful outcome. Warner Bros. has announced that they will be producing a third installment of the franchise with the return of both Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins.
