Maher said after watching Swift’s podcast interview on Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” show, he said he thought she seemed funny and cool to hangout with, but declared, “I just don’t get the music, and I never will.” Yungblud sang a quick cord from the 35-year-old’s hit song “Love Story” before shouting out her 2012 release “Red.” He exclaimed, “My sisters loved that! So anytime that comes on, that takes me back to a time when I was in my mom’s car with my sisters, and I actually love it.”

On October 7, E! News reported on how Swift is handling the critics of “The Life of a Showgirl.” The outlet says she told music reporter Zane Lowe in an Apple Music interview, “I have a lot of respect for people’s subjective opinions on art. I’m not the art police. Everybody is allowed to feel exactly how they want.”

She went on the share that she subscribes to the “all publicity is good publicity” mentality, saying, “The rule of show business is, if it’s the first week of my album release, and you are saying either my name or my album title, you’re helping.”

It certainly doesn’t look like Swift needs any help though, judging my the numbers. The AP says when she dropped the project on Friday, the Pennsylvania native quickly broke her own record for most album sales in a day, selling 2.7 million copies. Her previous album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” came close, selling 2.61 million the day of its release.

Swift finished up her comments to Apple Music by saying, “Our goal is as entertainers is to be a mirror. Oftentimes an album is a really, really wild way to look at yourself, right? What you’re going through in your life is going to affect whether you relate to the music that I’m putting out at any given moment.”
